When someone encounters an issue, we often request a screenshot so we can see what the problem is. When taking screenshots, please make sure not to crop the photo and include the URL of the browser. When in doubt, a larger screenshot is more helpful than a small one.
On a Windows computer:
1. One way is to search for the Snip and Sketch program on your computer or press Windows key + Shift + S.
2. After you open the program, select NEW. If you used the shortcut, you can skill this step.
3. Select full-screen option.
4. When the image comes up, save the image so you can attach to your email.
Alternative ways to take screenshots on computers:
Press PrtScn. This copies the entire screen to the clipboard. You can paste the screenshot into any program that displays images, like Paint or Microsoft Word.
OR
Press Alt + PrtScn. This copies the active window to the clipboard, which you can paste into another program.
On a Mac computer:
1. To take a screenshot, press and hold these three keys together: Shift, Command, and 3.
2. If you see a thumbnail in the corner of your screen, click it to edit the screenshot. Or wait for the screenshot to save to your desktop.
Note: In macOS Mojave or later, you can change the default location of saved screenshots from the Options menu in the Screenshot app. You can also drag the thumbnail to a folder or document.
On a mobile device:
